Meet the 2024 Great Innovate Winners and Competitors

Competitors at Process Palooza, a groundbreaking event highlighting UC San Diego's utilization of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) for enhanced efficiency, confronted a formidable task: analyzing and reimagining a critical department process within a single day.

On August 21-22, participants gathered at UC San Diego campus for an eventful agenda. Seasoned LSS experts engaged in the hands-on application of their knowledge, addressing business challenges faced by UC San Diego. Meanwhile, other attendees participated in workshops that covered the fundamentals of LSS and provided real-life demonstrations of its implementation.

The Great Innovate Competition Webinar

With the conclusion of this year's Process Palooza and The Great Innovate Competition, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the incredible ideas and innovations that emerged from these exciting events. We were blown away by the creativity, passion, and dedication brought to the table, and we can't wait to share some of the highlights with everyone. To that end, we hosted a special webinar to celebrate the successes of Process Palooza and showcase some of the outstanding ideas that were submitted. This webinar was a fantastic opportunity to:

• Learn from the experiences of fellow teams and how they approached the competition
• Get a sneak peek at some of the innovative solutions that will be implemented as a result of Process Palooza
• Connect with other teams and continue the conversation about process improvement and innovation
